Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor from Iceland . Anita Briesm, an Icelandic actress, is famous for playing Jane Seymour (the young woman that will eventually become the spouse of Henry VIII) in the TV show The Tudors. Also for the character of Hannah in the 2008 movie Journey to the Center of the Earth. Her acting career started at National Theater Iceland when she was nine years old. She was a child actor in Iceland, participating in the stage and on television. Briem was a child performer aged sixteen when she emigrated to London. Participated in an adaptation of Lenin and the Count of Monte Cristo, performed in Love at the New End Theater. Briem received a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the year 19.
