Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role was in the role of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna's first major role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a number of television shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a recurring role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. She also starred in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. She also starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered set in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual end reflect the final decades that were the life of Walter White.
